I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing from SoFA Design Institute.

What are the  experiences  that have led you to your current work?

I worked part-time as a fashion illustrator while I was in college, interned with a contemporary artist, and started my own fashion label, LE NGOK, after graduation. I also recently held an art exhibition.

How would you describe your business?

LE NGOK offers an immersive journey through the narrative highs and lows of its designer, Carla Zhang. The brand pushes the creative boundaries of experimental design in fashion, incorporating various mixed media and innovative techniques. It evolves around the concept of storytelling, fostering a continuous journey of discovery into the deeper meaning of creativity. Each LE NGOK piece is a sensorial story in itself, enabling the wearer to express their personal style through statement pieces.

What are the highlight projects in your career so far?

They are LE NGOK FW24 artisanal fashion collection, ‘There's Nothing Wrong’, invited by Bench Fashion Week, in March 2024, participation in the  Modern and Contemporary Art Festival in July 2024, and presenting the Spring/Summer 2024 3D-printed bag collection ‘The Pot’ at the Paris Tranoï show in February 2024. 

What are you currently working on? Are there any upcoming project(s) that you are excited about?

Developing my second 3D-printed bag collection. I am planning another ready-to-wear collection.

What are you working on next?

I want to explore more international markets, which is why I'm planning to be based in both Manila and Shanghai soon.
