‘Kapas Kala’ Collection and Pop-up Exhibition

SukkhaCitta presents ‘REGENERASI’, a year-long travelling pop-up exhibition highlighting regenerative cycles, soil health, women’s empowerment, and cultural preservation. As part of the exhibition, SukkhaCitta introduces ‘Kapas Kala’, their latest collection created from regeneratively-grown cotton. Featuring traveller coats, throws, and kebaya-inspired tops, each piece reflects a thoughtful process that spans 180 days—from growing the cotton to spinning, weaving, and stitching it by hand.
The Jakarta leg of REGENERASI runs until May 18, 2025, at Plaza Indonesia Mall. The exhibition will travel to Singapore, Bali and other cities.

‘Mother’ Collection
At Planet Riu, deadstock materials are upcycled into new, one-of-a-kind pieces. Best known for their handcrafted beaded tanks, the Bali-based brand presents a new collection, ‘Mother’, that includes crochet knit skirts and tube tops made using traditional Batik techniques, depicting abstract prints drawing from the Earth’s diverse landscape. The collection is available at Escalier boutique store in Bali, and Saloon store in Melbourne.

Returning from 7 to 8 December in Re Nou Space, Quezon City, standout collections include Meraki Bowy and Maligaya’s designs crafted from repurposed deadstock and vintage fabrics, RIOTaso’s upcycled patchwork vests and statement ensembles, and SUOT’s oversized pieces.
